Itinerary while in Morocco

Morocco is a gateway to Africa, and a country of incredible diversity. Here you will find vast mountain ranges, prehistoric cities, wide deserts and warm hospitality. Introducing Team Morocco - 2023!

We are a group of learners with Kirkwood Community College travelling to Morocco, July 7-22, 2023 as part of a Global Learning Humanities class. So far, we've learned about Islam in Iowa by visiting the Iowa City Mosque and through a panel discussion of women issues in Arabic nations. Each student has chosen their own area of research for our Morocco trip as we learn more Arabic cultural understanding. This photo was taken a week before our departure at our Plus+1 Potluck where we had a final meeting and brought along a guest to learn more about our trip.
